In July 2001, Starmec - a company dedicated to marketing solutions for the construction and maintenance of machinery and equipment - was founded in Espinho.
Attentive to the needs of the market and with a flexible approach to change, Starmec established facilities in Lisbon in January 2004, as a result covering the entire domestic market through its two warehouses with a total area of 4,000m².
Starmec represents SKF, the world leader in developing and supplying bearings and solutions. Within the power transmission range, the renowned (Dutch) brand DUTCHI, and the (Italian) brand BEA.
The organisation has 12 employees who demonstrate, on a daily basis, the spirit of professionalism, persistence and enterprise that has driven the company.
